    Brake pads short life?

    Hello,
    Have any of you heard about that space star and atrage has short life pads?
    Or you replace them on the first service?

    Mine's 39.000 km now and brakes are still like new. You can check this quite easily. This car's handbrake is connected to the rear drum brake (my galant has its own handbrake pad). My handbrake feels just like new. Only 2 clicks needed to brake it.
    I'm not a pedal braker, am an engine braker.

    That won't test the front brakes, the fronts will need to be replaced before the rears. Front brakes do most of the braking, and disk brake pads usually have a shorter life than drum brakes.

    True but it doesn't mean it will last shorter than other cars. Depends on the user I believe
