New user titles - help us come up with something cool

The user titles could use some work (the little title under your user name, mine says administrator). They are pretty boring as is. So, we thought you guys would like to have some fun and weigh in on what titles to use.

The current break down is:
0-30 - Junior member
31-99 - Member
100+ - Senior member


The new break down will be:

0-30 posts
31-100 posts
101-250 posts
251-500 posts
501-1000 posts
1001-2000 posts
2001-5000 posts
5000+! posts (We'll get there eventually)



I'll start with some suggestions:
0-30 posts - I'm just a Mirage
31-100 posts - Mirage Tinkerer
101-250 posts - Mirage Owner
251-500 posts - Mirage Modder
501-1000 posts - Mirage Craftsmen
1001-2000 posts - Mirage Master
2001-5000 posts - Mirage Professor
5000+! posts - Mirage Overlord


Eh, I don't even like all of those. So, tell us some cooler ones!


For kicks, I looked up the top 10 users with the highest post count. They are:

I am happy with the current titles; for new members the title gives some perspective on the posters interest in the forum.

I don't mind expanding/adding to the user titles, but like Bill, I think they should be self-explanatory about ranking.

EG... I like:

Neutral
1st gear
2nd gear
3rd gear
etc.

Not as fun though? And might annoy our CVT owners.

And I suppose we can always gauge a member's interest in the forum by their post count itself.

Yep, you can set your title to whatever you'd like, but most people don't bother.

I tried looking up synonyms for Mirage and thought why not put them up for suggestion. I would let someone else decide what order they should be in.

1. Illusion
2. hallucination
3. phantasmagoria
4. apparition
5. fantasy
6. chimera
7. vision

Some neat names that don't really imply rank or anything for that matter!

I am an owner of a CVT Mirage and I like the gear idea.

I saw the spot where I could put whatever title I wanted when I registered and I couldn't resist putting something there.
