Question D+ mode or DS mode (Drive Sport)

    Hi,

Been trying to search for any thread related to this. But i was wondering, in my country im seeing a lot of mirage users paying to enable ETACS to remove throttle delay.

Seeing this video makes me think, if there is a D+ mode, is it the same as to what is being enabled in ETACS? Claiming that it fixes the throttle delay? where in fact its just a Drive mode that was enabled? Dont know if i make sense

I don't think removing throttle delay is the same Ds mode. I think there was someone on the forum a while ago trying to make Ds work on their 2015 or older Mirage. All Ds does is flick a switch, it doesn't physically move the shifter cable. I'm not sure how or what removing throttle delay works for these cars. I had a tune friend 20 years ago that found that GM's had a crazy long delay in one of the power enrichment tables. Removing that delay alone made a huge difference in how a car drove. I wonder if there's something similar in the ecu of these cars that can be tweaked?

MY 2018 SE has the DS mode. It boost's the RPM making the CVT more responsive.

No “delay throttle” response when shift to Ds mode.

You turn off the AC with it in Ds and you're really tearing ass thru the streets.
