My EBAY lowering spring Adventure!!! LOL

Just so everyone knows, I am willing to take one for the community!

So the springs I ordered were these!!

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/400696604568...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

The install was straight forward, pretty easy to complete in 2 hours or less in your driveway!!

The front was a good slight drop, nothing too extreme. The rears however are hitting the bump stops with my wife and two 10 year olds and a 5 year old.

I have come to the conclusion that they do not know what they are selling!!

    Here are some lovely pictures!!

It now hits bump stops on the rear.. It didn't before?
The factory rear springs are way too soft. I hit bump stops all the time. Just means the new springs you bought are also on the soft side.

I did hit bump stops on the factory springs, but this is a different beast. I need to find the specs for the bump stops.

If they are really long I can just shorten them.

I will continue to report as they settle and let everyone know how it goes over the next 2 weeks. it rides awesome with just me and my wife in the car.

And it was a pretty painless process.

Exactly, way more than 30mm in the rear. maybe in the front too. Supposed to be 38mm but its alot more, closer to 45mm.

We will have to see how it settles in a few days I thought about putting a spring helper in the rear. but I will wait for now.

Need to research some different shocks for the rear with better dampening.

I still have my fresh Eibach set, not installed yet. As you can see in other thread how bad the speed bumps at my place, i can't install it.
