I think it would be a tie between the 2006 diesel smart fortwo and the 2010 Leisure Travel motorhome on the 3500 Mercedes Sprinter chassis. About 5000 kg with a 3 litre turbo diesel.

    Slowest car

The slowest car I everhad was a 2012 prius C. It just couldn't keep up with the traffic.
I traded it in for a loss after six moths for a regular prius!!!

I owned a 1996 Geo Metro 1.0L 5 speed manual that was the slowest car I had ever owned. Before I changed out the head and rebuild the bottom end of the motor, I got it dynoed so I could get a baseline to see how much power the new mods made. Well, it made 34 hp!

When I pulled the cylinder head off to change it I found out why. I had done a compression check and cylinders 1 and 2 had good compression of over 190 psi. Cylinder 3 only had 60 psi! It had a severely burnt exhaust valve so my 3 cylinder Metro was only running on 2 cylinders! On flat ground, it would do 74 mph with my foot on the floor in 4th gear. In 3rd gear it would do 75 mph, once again with my right foot buried on the gas pedal.

After I rebuilt the bottom end and changed the head I was able to hit 96 mph in 4th gear and the car was still pulling but I had to slow down because I was catching up to traffic really quick.

Otherwise the slowest vehicle that I have ever owned was a Kymco Like 200i scooter. Going down a VERY steep hill with the throttle pinned and my in a full tuck I got it to register 70 mph on the speedo once. Otherwise on flat ground it would average a top speed of about 60 mph. If there was ANY headwind that speed dropped off quickly.

We had an '07 Prius 2 . No issue with power with the 1.5 ltr. on interstate or hills . Slowest thing was filling up the gas tank in cold weather thanks to the rubber bladder tank . That's now been replaced with a better tank since '09 if I remember correctly .

The slowest vehicle I have ever driven is a school bus. The one I drive at work every day, when fully loaded with kids, weighs 32,000 pounds and the engine in it only puts out 250 hp! That's like having a 4,000 pound car that only has a little over 30 hp! In order to keep up with traffic, as much as you can anyway, you HAVE to drive it with your right foot planted on the gas pedal until you hit the speed limit. My bus has a top speed of about 70 mph which is rpm limited at the engine's 2400 rpm rev limit.

lol...my slowest car was a Mercedes Benz W124 200D (53 kW, 73 hp) with a 4spd manual, but I still hit 160 km/h on the Autobahn! If it were not for the crazy "Euro Norms" and the "emission taxes," I would have kept the "ship diesel."

In 1980, I bought a brand new VW Rabbit PU Truck Diesel I4 1.5L 4spd MT 48 HP 45MPG City/Hwy, driving slow, slower, or fast as possible. Did not matter. It blew thick, black smoke out the tailpipe, especially when climbing hills (there were absolutely no diesel smog laws!). I traded it in at 150,000 miles. I loved that thing. Oh wait, it wasn't a Thing. That's a different VW. There is little doubt in my mind that a VW Microbus would have blown my Sportruck away in a race. In a year or so, VW beefed up the engine to a 1.6L. Wish I still had it and had taken impeccable care of it, just like anyone who ever owned a 3 cylinder Metro/Firefly.
