No. nothing like that but the issue started very soon after dealership performed the "25,000km service.

    OMG!
I finished work at 3:30 this afternoon, went out to start my green "loaner" Mirage and guess what? It started without complaint, ran for 4 seconds at 1000 rpm (high idle circuit did not kick in) then died. No matter what I tried I could not start it. It finally tripped a relay and would crank no more. Dealer had to come and get me then go back later to fix or tow it or whatever....
I am of the opinion that these cars have NO BUSINESS IN THE COLD.

    P.S.
Got my own Mirage back. Service manager had no issues with it over the 5 days he had it so no resolution there.
Mitsubishi is repeating the mantra..... crank engine longer.
    I need a drink!

I have had no issues with my car and cold weather here in Minnesota. It's -11F tonight and I just drove the car home.

Trouble started right after 25,000 km service.

In a way, it may be good that both cars showed the same problem. It'll get more attention if it's a fleet-wide cold weather issue than if it's just a glitch in one car... eventually.

We've had a record cold February here in eastern Ont... I assume you're getting the same thing in T. Bay?

We hit -8 on the mountain (20-30mph winds chill was -25) last week and my Mirage started fine, just slightly slower turning over, I did notice though when below 20 degrees it likes for the start button to be energized a few times before depressing the pedal to try starting, it gets the injectors pressurized and ready for the heavy fuel load during cold starting, de users can simply cycle their key on/off twice to get everything ready.
