It stated on the recall notice that I got that 2 possible outcomes would occur from the recall. Either the computer would be reflashed or the engine would be replaced.
The recalls were done and they checked everything out. No codes were stored so they could not diagnose the problem and it started up perfectly fine for them. They did note on the ticket that there is a power inverter mounted under the driver's seat, and that might have caused the problem. What? Are you kidding me? They did a full test on the electrical system and it all checked out fine, even though I told the service advisor that the car was hooked up to jumper cables in the video that I took of the car not starting(I wanted to make sure it was not a battery problem).
So, since the reflash was done, we will see if this happens again.
