I saw this forum on EcoModder as well. I am a long time lurker (>3 years) over there. By the time I saw the Mirage thread on EM I was already an owner, so it made sense for me to sign up here.

I ran across this forum doing research and spent some time lurking. The forum is what convinced me to buy a Mirage.

One of the local Mitsubishi dealers had each of the 2014 models throughout one of the local malls last year. While perousing, I saw a little blue Mirage sitting outside of Macy's and it just had that "I LIKE IT" factor. I test drove one and loved it. I joined the forum to get the perspective of actual Mirage owners, not the snobby car reviewers who are comparing it with a $40,000 BMW and trashing it. I kept my old vehicle due to its lack of a bank note but now I think the time is right to purchase a shiny new Mirage. Hopefully the local dealer and I can make a deal.

I hope things work out and you're able to get a Mirage. Now is the time to buy while fuel prices are relatively low. One hiccup in the Middle East and fuel prices will skyrocket and you won't be able to find a Mirage for a reasonable price.

Long time ecomodder member under same name. Test drove a CVT and was impressed (dumb rag writers). Bought a 15 base manual 5/9/15.

I'm a moderator for AutoGuide on a few of the forums they own. So, I instinctively find the forum for any cars I own.
