mirage is the king of gassers, but under some circumstances the fit can temporarily hang with it. my mirage on that same trip would get in the high 40s. it's worth noting that I drive it 75 mph though at 60mpoh, it would be well into the low 50s.

No but I read about Toyota fitting slightly twisted front sway bar to compensate for road crown. Would not be surprised if Mitsu also did the same.

After sending a letter to Mitsubishi complaining for the long wait finally they authorized a new axle for me. The replacement will be performed this Monday.

The '11 FIT has Bridgestone Ecopia EP422 (H) and gas mileage is equal to those . The traction , ride , and noise are much better than the SP31 and EP422's . Can't go wrong with the RT43 which can be purchased for under $60 each with rebate from GENERAL tire . They need time to break in . They've been on the '13 FIT since last October and are wearing well . Plan to get winter tires this year . Hopefully it'll be milder for temps and precip . Another tire rated well by C.R. is the Cooper CS5 Grand Touring . That has a B.T.A. rating for rolling resistance along with good traction , ride , and low noise .
Actually I am asking because I am seeing 5-10% MPG drop with RT-43s comparing to OEM Enasaves.

for the drop with 43s' . Maybe the T rated get less due to deeper tread and different siping .

I changed out to some 175/65/14 tires from Pep Boys. Futura 2000 LTE tires are what I have in T speed rating. Since I have gotten them, I've seen a drop of about 2 to 3 mpg on average which I don't think is too bad considering these tires are not a LRR tire. I've had them on the car now for about 17,000 miles and they are wearing really nice. So I don't guess my rear alignment is off.

Did you factor in the difference for distance? Use freeway mile markers to verify your odometer accuracy. The drop could be from fewer tire revolutions per mile.
