Cool getting summer tires and rims!

I am considering 14 x 6 +40 rims along with 185/65 14's for my summer wheel package...anyone running this or have any opinion on how well this will work? Not really sure if I should go with 185/60 or 185/65, but I know I would like a wider tire...any thoughts would be appreciated!

Depends on what you want. I know my 175-65-14 front snow tires made a big difference in the corners. The enasaves really do kill the handling for aggressive driving. The 175s also give 2.7% increased diameter for a very small gearing increase on the highway. I know I lost a bit of mpg but the amount was likely pretty small.

If you want handling the 185-60s are the ticket, decent and better handling than stock 175-65s

Do not get the 185/65/15, get 185/60/14. Will be a tad taller but a lot wider. I made the mistake of getting the 175/65/14 and my MPG is crap and also is slower.
