    Iceberg, dead ahead!

So, this happened yesterday. Going down the highway, minding my own business, when a chunk of hard snow blew off the top of a semi and landed on the G4 windshield. She held true and got me to work and back. First time I've had a cracked windshield put glass shards inside! Will be replaced Tuesday for $340. Could have been worse.

I'm shocked it didn't cost more knowing Mitsubishi. Thank God you're OK man! I couldn't handle on of my closest buds on here getting hurt.

It's an aftermarket windshield, which helps with cost. I want to say I was glad I had worn my brown pants that day, but honestly it was over really quick. I wore my sunglasses in the dark (at night?) just in case it caved in while I was going to work and home. She's parked till fixed now! Funniest part was she handled last week's snow storm (8 inches) like a champ, only to get this 5 days after it was over!
    I do feel fortunate.

Pretty much. I half heartedly thought about trying to get a name off the truck, but ultimately just one of those things. Half the time the drivers hook up to new trailers and go. They don't have time to brush off the tops of those things.

Yikes. I'd probably need a new windshield, new jeans, and a new driver's seat after a strike like that.
