I don't see a problem. What part of the picture is of concern to you? That seam is part of the belt's construction.

These cars vary from market to market. This part is for North America, of course.

That is the way the belt is supposed to look. Weird, but true.
Strange, the belt does look kinda frayed to me. But what do I know, I don't own a Mirage (yet) nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night. Our American friends will understand my lame attempt at humor. Lol

The serpentine belt in the picture is perfectly normal..
This is how mine looks ..
You should be concerned if you see cracks on the underside or if the belt would look like this
i think you must get it replaced. its quite rough now
