    Should we be lubricating the fuel door catch?

    Noticed my fuel door catch (or latch) has become harder to close. Wonder if Mitsubishi recommends lubricant on it? It's plastic. Don't see what harm a light grease would do.
    Maybe I wash the car too much and washed the grease away, lol!

    That would be a Good idea. It helps protect your car by taking care of it. It will only make it last longer. So I would oil it.

    White lithium grease works good on things like the latch for your fuel filler flap.
