    I'd like the seat to be an inch lower just so I wouldn't hit my head on the door frame getting in. I guess I'm long in the torso. An inch is all I want.

    I posted a roll call for Bellevue WA or whatever in its own post. Planted Technology is more than willing to fab up seat brackets and sell them with no strings attached. Im sure whoever lends them their vehicle for a day will get a free set in all honesty (usually how it works) if i lived in WA i would do it myself. So if you know someone with a mirage in WA have them go, or go yourself. It helps the comminty and honestly the more companies jumping on the mirage means more brand will too even renting or buying one just to make parts.... but they wont do so if there is no market..... we can start that market together.

    Resurrecting this thread from the dead...

    I've found that positioning the driver's seat so that I'm most comfortable results in the seat feeling about an inch too high. So I've been scouring the web for a solution.

    I came across these seat lowering brackets designed for the Evo/Lancer, and I'm wondering if any of my fellow Mirage owners has the metal fabricating skills to make something similar for our application.

    I wonder if those brackets would fit the Mirage as they are.

    Just saw this thread, and wanted to add my 2 cents*. (As they say in the states) I just sold one of my Civic VX hatchbacks. Love them, but they are soooo low to the ground, that my old, wearing out knees, don't like it when I ask them to pick me back up, out of the go kart level seats. I kinda liked the height of the Mirage seats that I test drove.

    I don't think so, as the Evo seats rear mounting brackets are located to the side of the seats. Whereas the Mirage rear mounts are at the back of the seat. If that makes any sense.

    Coming back on this forum to bump this thread, I still have issues with the seat height, anybody tried making lower brackets?

    I have not tried making new brackets but I totally agree with the height being too high for me. I am considering getting new front seats so I can get them not only lower but to also get some decent bolstering on the sides of the seats.

    Sadly i'm pretty sure it wouldnt be legal anymore, airbag related.

    I just came back from the body-shop, for around 250 CAD he could get my seat lowered by 2 inches. I am pretty sure that doing custom rails wont be possible without hacking this part of the floor ;
