    What about you air bags? Replacing the front seats will disable your entire supplemental restraint system.

    I just came back from the body-shop, for around 250 CAD he could get my seat lowered by 2 inches. I am pretty sure that doing custom rails wont be possible without hacking this part of the floor ;

    Yeah, either cut that mount out... which, why?

    OR, just find a way to mount a seat on the current setup. The stock seats are like 5 inches tall from the base to where your ass sits? You could easily knock 2-3 inches off that simply by installing a bucket seat. Sadly I am still unable to mess with my car in my current handicapped position in life. Still hoping to recover from my spinal injury.

    I hope you will recover man! Stay positive!

    Removing the airbag is a big no no, at least in my province.

    I have a family member who drives his Scion xB in a wheel chair and he replaced his seat air bag with a simulator that makes the SRS system think the bag is still there. Probably would work for this application too.
