Baby Girl :: 2014 Mitsubishi Mirage LS (Garage entry)

Hi JT, Thank you so much for that, but there was no twisting in my problem, my connection is L shaped and square so you had to push down on C (the little blackclip) while pulling down on D (the wires)... Well the diagram in the manual is wrong, C is NOT on the FRONT of the light connection, its on the SIDE, so once you push THE SIDES IN, the wires slip out the bottom no problem....

The only twisting was a quarter turn to release the bulb from the housing...That was the easy part... But good news... Hubby got home from work and both lights were installed in 15 minutes .... :-)

I've fallen in love with all things LED at the moment, so I've decided to do the LED light strip mod for the boot... I already have a T10 LED light in the rear hatch, but it only lights one half of the car, so I've purchased a LED strip and adapter...

This is a super easy mod, and I'm looking forward to more light in the back of the car when I open the hatch...

I counted my mod list today.... 36 mods and still going... :-) They may be only little things, but there's no other Mirage like mine in Canberra... Lots of mirages, just none that look like mine...

Just did the math, my Black and White licence plates should have been here three weeks ago... I'm heading down to Gungahlin town centre tomorrow, and head to the motor registry and find out where they are.... Its been nine weeks since I ordered them, and they're only supposed to take 4-6 weeks...

These plates are plastic and are reknown for breaking, so I am purchasing number plate frames too.... Will post pics when they're attached... Hopefully they will be here tomorrow....

where did you got the glass or acrylic protector for your headlights?

I bought those from a Mitsubishi Dealership that sells stuff on ebay here in Australia... I'll post the link for you below....

I didn't install these, I tried to, I really did but I took it to the dealership to have the flip top console, bonnet protector and headlight protectors installed.... I know there's a couple of screws and plastic strips underneath the clips to protect the glass, but I'm not sure how they're installed sorry

Yay, hubby works for Australia post so I get stuff before it gets delivered as we live 5 minutes from his work... So handy... Well my LED interior light has just shown up... They sent me four of them, so I've got plenty of adapters and LED blocks to work with...



I'll take pics but I think you can see with the adapters how easy it is going to be... :-) You just use the spring loaded connection with the bulb to connect the LED block... Too easy...

So much brighter than the old halogen... So another upgrade finished....

Second upgrade finished for today... Went to the motor registry and swapped my old blue and white plates, for my brand new Black and Silver ones...



I also get to use both sets of the Transformer Number Plate Bolts on the back and the front... I had to drill holes into my baby girl's butt today....

Yay, just got a notification about the LED strip from eBay, it will be here early next week. That was really fast... I already have the necessary adapters, so I'm ready to forge ahead as soon as it arrives...

I'm pretty excited about this mod, as its going to give me more light and I get to play with the strip placement a little bit....
