Thank you Car Nut... I don't think I'd sell it, my 11 year old will kill me, he really wants it....

I saw another green mirage today..... Gosh I want one so bad.... They look so great, I can't wait to get ours.... Its such a lovely colour....

Wouldn't need to be the same grade, you can do a little bit thicker/thinner
I just booked my car at another dealership since they use castrol. I'll let you know what oil grade they put in.
Old one used valvoline(utter garbage, cooking oil is nearly as bad) and that was a 5w-30

Yeah, I still reckon I'll be going with Mobil 1... Its the recommended oil for its viscosity so its a good safe bet... I'm running K & N filters so I'm not envisaging any problems....

Only 2500 k's to go for my first oil change... I love the K&N filters, they're so cute... I'm used to big old holden oil filters that were huge...lol...

I've ordered more of the sound proofing from carbuilders.com.au and I've just received an email saying they're out of stock, so it won't be arriving for at least 10 days.... This will finish the front doors, and the floor.... I've got two and a half sheets left out of my first batch, and I've got another 22 coming, so that will be more than enough to finish what I want.... Except the roof... I'll need to buy more for that....

Well I've clocked over 5000 kilometres now... :-) And its running better than ever before... Only 2500 k's to go and I can do her first oil change...

The rest of the sound deadening has been dispatched to me as of this morning, so it should be here early next week... This is going to be a big job... 42 sheets to install.... This will make the car significantly heavier... I've decided to go with just insulating foam for the roof, it doesn't need to be sound proofed, at least I don't think it does.... Its lighter, and will help with the heat here in Australia this summer....

Its an absolutely gorgeous day here, hubby is wrestling today and the kids are going to their grandmothers.... Peaceful day...

Yay, the rest of the sound proofing material showed up today as expected.... 42 sheets to be put in the car.... Front doors first, then the Herculean task of removing the interior, seats and all to finish the job.....

I'll be sure to take pics of that....

Removing the seats might be the easiest part. Good luck, and let us know if you find any spare change down there.
