now after i installed it the horn was so low and i only heard *tonk sound, then after several honking the aound was gone, then i tried to put back the original horn and it too was not working anymore. what could be the problem with this?

pls. help as i dont have a horn now working.

Check your fuse for the horn. You may have a burnt out fuse.

Never a good idea to increase fuse size. My guess is it blew when you were hooking up your new setup; you should be just fine from now on if all is electrically sound.

Technically you shouldn't use a higher amperage fuse. Normally I would say install a separate fused relay but unless you use your horn all the time going to a 15 amp fuse should be ok. Just be aware of the risk of doing so.

    +1. Burned fuse.

2 horns pull too much for OEM harnes to handle

10 amps is not enough to run two horns like the Bosch EC6, one horn needs about 6 amps and peak load for activation is even much higher.

so is it much better to have a relay? because from where i am they said that its ok without a relay, some already had use this style for a year and said they didnt have any problems.
