    New tire option!

    Hi guys and gals,
Just put a set of Invovic EL 601 tires on the Mirage.
I know, I have never heard of them either.
    For specs:
    Treadwear 400
    Traction A
    Temperature A.
So far they ride quieter and smoother than the Daytons that came on it. Also, seems to handle much better. Holds the road better and seems to go where you point it better.
Feels like a softer compound so I think it will do better in the winter. Bought them at Mavis, mounted and all fees for $407.00 best price I could find. Oh, and 50,000 mile warranty! Alan

Nice! Are they rated as Low Rolling Resistance (LRR)?

Have you been tracking your MPG's? I'm curious about if you'll notice any difference. These are the same size as OEM?

They look more like summer tires than A/S . Also look to be a L.R.R. tire . Here's the INVOVIC site , http://www.invovic.cn/index.php/list.../id/1/p/1.html . Many other tires . Keep us up to date with performance in rain ,etc.. Fuel economy too .

Same size as original. Tread is wider and deeper than original ones. Only perfect weather far this week so only drove them on dry roads.
So far they do everything better than the ones that came on it. Haven't checked fuel mileage yet.

They look good. I personally have no gripes about the Enasaves but I only have 2500 miles on them. How many miles did you get out of your Enasaves?

I got 36,000 miles from the Enasaves. They were down to the wear bars. They did a pretty good job last winter. It went places that the wife's Galant would not go.wehad the harshest winter in a hundred and fifty years and the little mirage never got stuck. And i drive 100 miles a day back and forth to work!

Nice, I look forward to ordering the Dunlop winter tires for this winter.

BTW, I noticed the JDM Mirage received the 175/55-R15 tires on certain models. They might be something to consider in the future, but for the moment, "wheel barrow" tires are fine.
