Trying to avoid turning this thread into another "wish list". It is more intended to posting '17 news.

Changing rims to 15" and revising spring rates/rear shocks will not increase cost.

EVO model will cost more, but if Mitsu decides there is a market for it and makes one, it will be positioned above ES and they can/will charge more for it.

And it is AWD. Did they shoehorn EVO X powertrain?

You kind of wonder if Mitsu can make one and sell for 20k. Even if car gains 300lbs with 291hp it will be a beast!

WRC cars use a spec homologated AWD system that's produced by Sadev and X-Trac. Sequential 6-speed dogbox, mechanical salisbury type LSDs F/R and no center differential, it's a spool with a breakaway torque that can be disengaged by the handbrake. It's why the current crop of WRC cars drive more sideways than when they had 3 active diffs. Oh, just the AWD system is around $75,000.

Minor pocket change to a man of means. Sure would nice to be a man of means, or as my grandmother used to say, be rich and have no poor kin.

Yes it is better to be young, rich and healthy than old, sick and poor; very few would disagree.

So to build a rally car you need at least 120k?

Usually it's about $250k total for each car. Crazy stuff.
