Yesterday I looked for the fastest cars and the cars with the best acceleration up to 60 PS, 70 PS and 80 PS, that can be bought here in Germany.

60 PS:
VW up!/Seat Mii/Skoda Citygo: 60 PS, 161 km/h, 14.4 seconds 0-100 km/h

70 PS:
Renault Clio: 65 PS, 167 km/h, Fiat 500 1.2: 69 PS, 12,9 seconds 0-100 km/h

80 PS:
Mitsubishi Space Star 1.2: 80 PS, 180 km/h, Smart Fortwo electric drive: 75 PS, 11,5 seconds 0-100 km/h
But the Space Star is on second place with 11,7 seconds 0-100 km/h.

The Space Star is the only sub-compact car (not minicar or microcar) that weighs less than 1000 kg (ECE standard including 75 kg for driver and 90 % fuel in the tank).

I wouldn´t say that the Space Star/Mirage is a very slow car. It depends on how you drive it. I drive it very slow .
