2 would stop the bottoming out, but not improve spring rates, so you'll still be bouncing around.

3 is probably expensive.

but what would be the best option to avoid the rear to bottom out when on a humps?

1. change the springs to a better one like the VW springs
2. use a rubber stopper
3. use this airbag/airlift

I'm thinking 1 would be the best, I think you can get the whole set of springs for around $60.00 on eBay

im about 190lbs my wife is 140lbs. my mitsumi usually bottoms out when my wifes friends rides with us going home since we are on the same way, atleast 3 at the back with almost the same wieght as my wife. its not that everyday we they ride with us. im just worrying that in the long run it may get worse. so im trying to get options that can last for long.

Dude, I bottom out sitting alone in the car. Granted, I'm 196 too, and might have some junk in the trunk.

Honestly, I'm preaching like the sunday preacher here, but I'll say it again: it's hard to beat the performance-for-the-money of those 50$ ebay VW springs. After a few months, they actually feel like they're OEM springs on the car. I will say that they were a little stiff at first, but now, anyone who rides in the car will think they were OEM, until they look at them.
