Should I wait until April to Buy 2015 Mirage (new)

I am looking to buy a new mirage DE stickshift

I know that the new 2017 model is coming out in April 2016.

Do you think I should wait until April to get a better deal? You think I will get a cheaper price?

Sounds like a good plan. Let us know how it works out.

I dont know if we are "allowed" to talk about the price? I was wondering if anyone has gotten the 2015 DE manual for under $11,000 out the door?

I know I can definately get a Versa S stickshift for $10,500 and strangely enough it seems the Nissan dealers are more receptive so far to giving me a good price.

I thought the Mitsubishi dealers would be more motivated, seeing as the 2017's are coming in April and I thought they would want to move the 2015's off the lot.

Also finding a manual transmission is like a needle in a haystack over here in FLorida. 90% of the ones I see are CVT. I want stickshift

You're totally allowed to talk about prices. In fact we have a whole thread dedicated to it.

How much did you pay for your Mirage?

I think its a sound plan to wait a couple months for the new model to come out.
Custom Mirage products: Cruise control kit, Glove box light, MAF sensor housing, Rear sway bar, Upper grill block

Current project: DIY Nitrous oxide setup for ~$100

Just for an example, have a look at R.C. Hill Mitsubishi in Deland, Florida. They have some of the lowest prices I've seen online. I'll include a link to a search of their website for Mirage with manual transmission.

    http://www.rchillmitsubishi.com/new-...&model=Mirage&

Today, their inventory shows five such Mirages listed. Four of them show a internet price of $9,104. The price of the fifth is $9,284. They are all listed as DE trim.

Their inventory shows a total of 109 (Mirages/Mirage/Miragi?? Is it a verb, is it a noun??). Consider using this pricing example in your negotiations.

Or you can plan a memorable spring break vacation trip and buy one of those.

    Holy Toledo!

I will definately call them! I will try to use this website as a bargaining chip but these dealers so far have even poo-pooed my offer for $10,500

Ridiculous snobs, they would rather see a bag of cash walk right out the door then give me a price break and get an unpopular car off their lot.

Thanks eggman, if these guys are legit on the price I would be happy to drive 4.5 hours each way to save $2000

Maybe I will take the greyhound bus there and drive the mirage back home

to be honest your going to get another 250, maybe 500 off of the car. I suggest to you that you look for a 15 Mirage used with under 10k Miles. I just got one from my dealership with 5900miles. I want to say i got a pretty good deal. Got a 5speed ES for $10k. you prob wont see a price like that. But if the dealership had a used mirage in their inventory for a long time you could get a awesome deal.
There is no I in team. But there is a PU in group and you guys stink.....

Dontee, what kind of warranty did you get? I understand the 10 year/100,000 mile warranty doesn't get transferred to subsequent owners.

Well, all that glitters is not gold, Im afraid......

I spoke to this scoundrel over the phone and the 9,104 internet price turned into $12,500 out the door after all the smoke and mirrors had cleared

I think used may be the better way to go after all. We shall see. I will keep you informed if I find something better
