In mid and southern Italy with a car carrying north-european plates, its not unusual to get fined for speeding if youre just doing the limit while being overtaken by locals. Putting a few notes in the registration papers while handing them over usually gets you moving away without a fine. I don't think its good, but it usually works that way. Wonder how low the salary of the cops may be...
Thanks for the tip I will keep it in mind. We had rental Punto with italian plates. With respect to salary it might be cultural too, I've heard it works well in Mexico and eastern europe too. Not in US, no cop will risk his job for $20

I'm plenty happy with power. I bought it for mpg's, not to race.

When I have passengers, the lack of power is apparent, but for solo, it's adequate.

I drove a CVT with my wife and our two suitcases for about 5 days, never needed more power, I then bought a manual, and it doesn't need more power either.

The only time it really lacks power is starting out at the bottom of a really steep hill. Or, if you don't downshift soon enough going up hill. It can be hard to recover.

It's all subjective. It doesn't have enough power for those who often compare it to more powerful cars. It has too much power for those who compare it to less powerful cars.

For me, as a minimalist, it has more than enough power to get me from point A to B safely; I don't race or pretend to be a racer. I would rather have bought the car with the 1.0 engine, if I could!

I've always owned cars with enough power. When I drove a maxima v6, that felt like too much power for FWD car. The mustang v6 auto felt adequate. Might have felt a little more than enough if it was 6spd though.

Going from a 230HP car to the 74HP Mirage was noticeable, but easily compensated for by adjusting your driving technique. What was more noticeable though was going from 22mpg to 38mpg. Saving over $1300 on fuel cost in the first year alone.

    Plenty of power for me.

I went from driving a 350 HP Mustang to this 74 HP fuel saver.

I was a grandma driver from the start so I never had a problem too big, but at times I can tell I'm driving what feels like a tractor motor haha.

But, I find it FAR more amusing to drive this car than the mustang.

Also, going from 25MPG to 50 MPG overnight was a serious big win for me.
