Includes, 2pcs. 3ohm midwoofers, 2 grilles, and 2 plastic spacers.

3 ohm resistance, I'm not sure your current unit will drive 3 ohms. Also, you'll have a ohm mismatch between front and rear. I'm a no on this but I'm sure others will give their input.

Infinity are good speakers, but IMHO I wouldn't install woofers only. I'd put components in front and installed tweeters in upper/front corner.

ah i see its only a woofer so which means i need to install an ampli and setup as woofers? but whats the difference because the seller said midwoofer and not sub woofer?

The seller is likely to tell you anything to get you to buy it But looking at the box closer it says they are two way speakers. There should be a frequency response on the box somewhere. But even if they were acceptable in range having two levels of resistance out of the same unit is a recipe for unit failure. These are 3 ohm resistance speakers. I don't even know if your current head unit would even drive 3 ohms, but even if it did or could having a mismatch between resistance between the front and rear channels is a definite no no and will cause failure of your head unit (tuner-amplifier).

The box shows woofer, tweeter and cross-over (square box). Make sure you are getting all woofers by themselves are useless.

You can use component speakers with OEM radio, just connect out to cross-over and connect woofer and tweeter to corresponding outputs. There should be at least a few dozen videos on YouTube on how to install compound speakers. We have used Pioneer A-series TS-A1685 and 1605 component just because they alot cheaper then Infinity and have good ratings. Infinity rated equally good (per top ten review above) but have higher efficiency so will be louder.

    TS-A1685 were $47 shipped, can't beat that.

Tsa1675 are listed for $20 on eBay. The difference between 1685 and 1675 that 85s are 4way and 75s are 3way,, same woofer but extra tweeter. 1605c are 2way with just one tweeter, and having both 85s and 05c don't think extra tweeter makes any difference.

Pioneer updated A-series so it is 86, 76 and 06c now:

Edit: after looking at specs 1675 are shallow mount and slightly lower power rating. When we put 1685 we had to make 1/2" adapters for front doors to have windows clear speakers, so it would have saved the trouble.

I just installed something similar in my car this past Saturday. You can use the factory head unit but I don't think that it would be powerful enough to make them sound good. These speakers are great for highs but they are not really designed for any type of bass either. I added a bass tube to the trunk of my car to fill in the bass. To be honest, anything is better than the factory speakers and head unit that is on this car. It is probably one of the worst sounding of any car that I have ever been in except one. The Chevy Spark believe it or not is even worse. Name: infinity.jpg
