What aftermarket parts would you buy?

What aftermarket parts would you be interested in buying? Please describe what you're interested in below.

As a reminder, we do have indexes in each section for all the known aftermarket parts for the Mirage. They probably need updating, but let us know and we'll get the stuff added.

Engine & transmission aftermarket parts index

Suspension & brake aftermarket parts index

Body & exterior aftermarket parts index

    I chose engine/wheels/interior.

If you want a 'fun' car to drive, depending on what you already have, the mod list could be as follows:
    1. wider wheels
    2. ebay springs
    3. rear swaybar
    4. strut tower bar

That would give you a fun enough car that should last you a while.

IF you really want to put your money down for a fun car here's what to add to the list:
    1. cold air
    2. header/exhaust
    3. high octane dyno tune

If you have deep pockets, you can skip above and just go straight to either a custom turbo setup or the S/C setup from the Philippines.

I'm honestly content with the stock stereo setup WHEN I use CD/AUX/BT. FM is useless.

The reason I put up the poll is to see if there is any REAL interest in a specific product. If there is, we can work on prodding companies to make stuff for us. Personally, I'd really like to see more aftermarket support for Mirage parts. However, we need people who are interested and willing to plunk down the cash for mods.

    Dampers

    Dampers

    Dampers

Rear axle kit to fix alignment

    Short throw shifter

    Bigger brakes

I would love the aluminum drums that the crx hf 1st gen had on the rear, they say the aluminum drums weigh half as much as anything else while providing efficient cooling similar To a disc set up

    "Fuel economy"

My experience: very few people are willing to spend for mods that save fuel.

The traditional "performance" market is a different story.

Dampers would be number one on my list. I may have to get some coilovers for it in the spring.

While dampers might sounds like a good upgrade, in my experience, the combo of low-profile tires and stiffer springs solve 50% of that issue. Adding stiffer swaybars both front and rear would bring it up to a strong 85-90%.
