Looking at the part numbers: are left and right front strut the same number? They should be different at least they are on most cars.

Mitsubishi parts warehouse lists the same part number for both sides. I wondered the same thing.

I've looked at the ones we pulled out, and they appear to be identical. For the most part L/R struts on other cars only differ by brake line mounting bracket, and on Mirage it has an attachable piece, so the shocks appear to be identical. Surprise surprise.. more so as I was the one to pull them out in the first place.

Updated 2017 model year part numbers to the chart and added links.

The links give more detail on the item including pricing, both list price and any discounted price.

Searching for links I could not find three items. I suppose those parts are no longer available and/or superseded. The compatibility of some others were listed for multiple years, and I tried to note this as best I could while maintaining the original chart layout.

Let us know if there are any additions, errors, or dead links.

Found a difference between early 14 and 15 trailing axles. Not a big change but the rear abs wiring on the early cars goes up and into the car back in the wheel well. The later cars have the wires run forward under the car and go inside the car ahead of the trailing axle mount.

I just noticed one more difference between 2017 and 2015. The 2017's have a thin round metal plate where the top of the strut bolts to the tower. The 2015's have nothing, the strut just bolts to the strut tower with 2 nuts and not spacer. I don't have time to post pics right meow.

    Here is a 2015 Attachment 19369

the 2017 has a plate kinda like Attachment 19370
