I honestly dont know how much I bought the UR rear swaybar but between that and the VW springs, I'll pay any price for if I get a 2nd mirage. Also, I was a HUGE skeptic about it's "free floating" design and wanted to bolt it on the beam, but it seems to work great.

Just trying to clarify: what's the issue? UR is too expensive or did they stop producing the product?
I saw some UR rear swaybars on ebay:
    Subtotal (1 item): $128.34
    Shipping to US: FREE
    Total: $128.34

I dont think it'll get any cheaper than that folks.

Sadly, that isn't the rear sway bar, its just a brace.

I'd be happy to pay in the $150 range for something decent, maybe a max of $200 shipped. How far I'm willing to reach above $150 of course depends on the apparent quality of the design and materials.

Its because UR is the best in the business. They will have prices that don't agree with many people. A cheap car owner probably wants a cheap sway bar. I'm sure that people with more expensive cars are willing to pay $205-250 for a sway bar, but not the under $15k car bracket.

Think of it this way. I could have bought a Thule or Yakima basket rack that will last forever..... or I could buy a $90 white label brand basket rack and then use sealant/plasti dip.
