Castrol Edge has really good support on the net from what I've seen on other forums. Its one of their best oils in a long time.....
I've always been very skeptical of Amsoil. I know many "bob is the oil guy" loons worship the stuff, but in all reality, I highly doubt it's any better than the stuff coming from Shell or ExxonMobile. Also skeptical of Royal Purple. My biggest reason: they're small time fish, with very limited funds for testing. The bigger fish have more experience, refine their own oils, know what they're refining, and have huge research teams.
I'd agree though: Using 0W-20 is safest bet for warranty claims, using anything else does not legally void your warranty, and you could readily fight it and win, but it would cause headaches, so that depends on your ability to handle headaches.
I personally use Pennzoil Platinum 0w-20. The stuff in a silver bottom, claiming to be from "Natural Gas". It's true, it is from natural gas, though I really don't give a darn. I only get it because my local wal-mart seems to continuously have it on "roll-back" so it's usually the cheapest full-actual-synthetic oil.
Oil filter: Purolator Classic. They're quality filters, and dirt cheap. $3 and it's twice as good as the FRAM $6 filter (and twice as cheap).
