    I will measure it tomorrow
But it looks like its a bit bigger on the EU models (The black part with the yellow and white DOT is missing from at yours)

I will Edit this later today, and put in the size of it (Length, wide) ( im not going to measure it anyway,,because we got the right answer)

The housings look to be different sizes. The upper alternator looks bigger (longer and wider) to me.

P.S. The photo attachments don't display for me in this post, but they do when I preview. I hope they show properly for others.

Just adding more info. The service manual for the 2015 Mirage says the alternator is rated for 85 amps.
Custom Mirage products: Cruise control kit, Glove box light, MAF sensor housing, Rear sway bar, Upper grill block

Current project: DIY Nitrous oxide setup for ~$100

The US alternator for 2014 - 2015 part number is: 1800A316

There is no difference between 5 speed manual and CVT.

Just to clarify: this is the part number from link above. Now we need to find EU/Japanese part #.

Even the smallest stripped-naked model in Europe has regenerative braking! It costs almost nothing to add and helps reduce consumption a little bit.

Technically all it is, is that the alternator charges the battery independant of battery state when
    A) the motor is braking (foot off gas)
    and when the
    B) engine is above a certain amount of rpm (usually about 1500- 2500rpm depending on make and model).

In practical terms, all Mitsu needed to do was to program the ECU accordingly, since the voltage regulator is ECU controlled.

Even if electrical return is less than stellar the added drag force could extend the life of brake pads and increase safety for Mirages in mountainous/hilly terrain.
    Will weld for beer.

When I want to slow down going down a hill I sometimes downshift my CVT into “B” and for added effect I’ll turn the AC on, that’s like dropping an anchor on the Mirage !
