The specs of my rims I'm buying

Okay, so I'm buying a set of rims for my mirage this week, I found a set of four brand new for a cheap price.

    The rim specs show:

    15x6.5 4x100 with a offset of +38

Would these rims be okay on the stock suspension of the 2015 Mirage?

The lightweight rims I am buying from tirerack (14.4 pounds each, 16x6.5) are +44 offset and tirerack is 100% sure they will fit. I would assume your 15x6.5 with +38 would fit. Tirerack, is showing 15" rims with anywhere between 38 and 44 offsets, so I would assume the ones you are looking at would fit. I would contact the seller and see if they have any kind of return policy, most legit places will let you bolt them up and see if they fit BEFORE you mount tires, and only after mounting tires are they non-returnable. Also note the hub bore size, dunno what is required in that regards since tirerack usually takes care of all that for you. I would contact the seller as I said for return policy.

Make sure to post pictures once you get them. Those rims should have a big impact on your car.

to be fair, as long as you are with-in a certain % of diameter and width, anything inside that range will fit. a 195-45-16 fits within this range of size.

as for diameter, the stock 165-65-14 is is about 570.1mm, 195-45-16 is 581.9 a difference of 2.1%, which is below the allowed 3% margin.

for 15's, the 165-65-14 at 570.1mm vs 195-50-15 at 576 which is even closer to stock, at a whooping 1% difference.

there are tons of tire size calculators out there to spec out sizes. https://www.rimsntires.com/specspro.jsp this one i like a lot, it tells you almost everything you need to know going from one size to another. like how going from the stock 165-65-14 +46 to 195-45-16 +44, the tire will be 13 mm closer to the strut, so i would have to check if i have 13 mm of space from the stock wheel to fit it (most likely this is a yes, tirerack is never wrong lol). the wider rim with the +44 offset will stick out 17 mm more towards the outside of the car, giving it a wider look and filling the wheel arches as the stock rims are "tucked". the wheel well will be filled out diameter wise by 6mm, which is acceptable. and of course when i am doing 60mph, ill actually be doing 61.xx. which isn't a huge deal.

    Same specs as yours. 15x6.5 +38 and I'm still using my stock bridgestones (175 / 55 / 15)

Never had a problem even when the back is loaded. (rear likes to squat)

Not sure about the suspension setup on your space stars / mirage since this is from the Philippines.
