    Found a turbo!

So, I was on youtube just messing about when I cam a crossed a mirage turbo! This little sucker is nice!

On that note, I can't wait to start my turbo build.... in due time.

I did some calculations, right now the car weight plus me in it, based on power, 1/4 mile estimate is 18.5 seconds and from car reviews that's about right in the 18 second range. So, based on that same formula, a mirage, same weight (car plus me) at 150hp would give me a 12.3 second mirage! Going to 220 (if even possible on that 3 cylinder which is a HUGE stretch) would make me a low 11 second car. This is getting me all worked up! Both videos posted on what I found, one is a dyno run (no comments on how much power it made) and then the second video is them driving like a hooligan!

Cool find thanks for posting. Hope they also modify the engine support torque rod and put in some solid rubber bushings, that engine is moving too much.

Im pretty sure they put a torque dampener on the motor (front to rear sway)(its like a little shock absorber) because honestly thats all you need. Stiffer motor mounts would be nice but not really required for the tiny power wed put out. Even with a turbo we make less than a honda b series motor and im sure the mounts arent far off rubber stiffness wise.
