when two automatics go head to head XD (I'm dying laughing).

saw a video on a honda fit completely stock, 5mt, running 17.3 at 77mph. the mirage running around 18.8 at 75mph according to most things i can google on it.

now if we step back, and compare motor sizes, the honda has a 1.6l and the mirage a 1.2l, the honda also has 1 more cylinder. when you take that into account, the mirage doesn't look as bad as it would seem.

however, i did see a small mention of the mirage running 17.7 which i honestly believe possible given the power to weight ratio and using a manual transmission, but when I click the link, once inside there is nothing about running 17.7 which is odd.

still. I think the mirage has huge potential, especially because of Mitsubishi's nature of over engineering their vehicles which makes for great tuning platforms, i mean honestly, look at the evo (granted, the evo is a "performance vehicle" but just look at the engineering level to price ratio, its huge)
