Valve lifters - hydraulic or solid?

I am used to the 3 cylinder Suzuki G10 engine which uses hydraulic lash adjusters and doesn't require any adjustment. The G13 only had these in later years. Is any valve adjustment required on the Mirage?

If so, what is the interval?

    No adjustments are required.

Check out this thread (the post I linked, in particular).

Interesting. I guess metallurgy has advanced to where these don't wear enough to require any type of adjustment during the normal life of the engine. The nice thing about a hydraulic setup is that it accounts for stretch in the valve stem, seat wear, etc. I guess these have been minimized to where it isn't a problem.

The inclusion of roller lifters in 2017 will likely mean less wear yet for the cams and tappets, making this even less of a concern.
