I installed my Daox sway bar last week. I put about 500 miles on my Mirage this weekend. I like the improved handling of the car, especially on curves and turns. While driving on a highway with a stiff crosswind today, the Mirage also seemed more planted.
I don't notice any added noise while driving down the road, but I am now noticing some creaks from the rear at low speeds (parking lots and driveways). These noises weren't there prior to the sway bar, & they have become quite noticeable.
The right side of my sway bar is wedge tight against the brake bracket. The bar brace seems tight against the axle on the left side. The bar is tucked in above the brake brackets on both side. The sway bar has definitely added a noise to the rear suspension that is most noticeable @ very low speeds.
If the bar braces cleared the brake brackets, it would be easier to experiment (attempting to reduce/eliminate the added creaks to the rear suspension).
Not sure others are noticing this or not, but the sway bar has created some added noises to the rear of my car, too.
