    ECU fuel map recall

So I took mine to the dealership to have all three recalls addressed (faulty airbag sensors, waterproofing the wiring harness, and reflashing the ECU), and the UltraGauge does show a difference with the new ECU tune. Before, startup fuel flow would be around 0.35 Gal/Hr, but now it's dropped down to .28-.31 on startup. They actually had all three jobs done in an hour, which was pretty surprising. I had planned on camping out for a few hours.

Seeing the possibility of engine damage in the service mailer got my attention. I had figured it was running the mix too rich and washing the oil from the rings, but thankfully mine doesn't seem to be harmed by it.

I thougth mitsu was reliable, but all I hear is recall. I don't hope that my space star 2015 is affected though

These are very, very minor recalls. Honda just recalled 33,000 '16 Civics because their engines could blow up due to being assembled wrong.

Was there any noticeable difference pre and post-ecu flash? You noted the difference in fuel delivery with your scantool, but anything noticeable without instrumentation? Does the engine 'feel' smoother?

Cani Lupine has a display that plugs into the OBDII diagnostic port and will allow you to see all the engine/transmission from the ecu. They are pretty neat and will give you a bunch of info you don't normally have access to.

No. Some show only very basic information.

There's lots of options to access this data. I'm sure someone here will offer their experience. One interesting option is a bluetooth adapter and a smartphone app.
