Mobil 1 0W20 "Extended Protection" and "Advanced Fuel Economy" differences?

They obviously have different mileages in the states if you had to take the car for an oil change every 7500 miles in Germany then there would be uproar in the country,once a year or 20000 miles and that is to short.

According to my Mitsubishi agent the guarantee is 5 years 0r 100000 kms or 20k a year the service is once a year irrespective of mileage once it has done 100k then the guarantee is finished .I would of course change the oil every year but it will probably last the cars lifetime the way I use it I doubt if it will have 20k kms in five years.

down on 15k km in 1.5 years. I drive the car gently, so neither me I doubt about the engine breaking down

They only have 6 qt. cases . $37.99 ( 6 qt. case ) - $10.00 ( instant discount )= $27.99 -$12.00 ( rebate ) = $15.99 for case . Thus , $2.665 a qt..

I am sure it could go 10k miles with no problem but I will continue to change at 7500 miles (dont want to risk voiding my powertrain warranty, they could deny a claim based on 10k miles oil change intervals)

At least its not as bad as the Nissan Versa with the 5k mile intervals

The Americans and oil changes it must be cheap to change the oil most modern engine oils will do 100k without any bother so if you change at 25k your still well in and still lining the pockets of the oil companies.
