Fast key light on

I need to schedule a date with the Mitsubishi dealer my dash is a Christmas tree now. Tpms, airbag, Eco, cruise, fog light , and now key light on. I had good led light from the key and it works great from a distance unlocking and locking. I have to put it in the slot to start it now. I can lock and unlock the car with the key remote inside the car which it didn't do before the issue.

I did try a new battery in the remote with no luck.

Can you scan for codes? What else have you tried?

Wild thought: Disconnect 12 volt battery and reconnect. See if that helps. Or go to dealer.

This is coming from a salesman < Me: Not a tech. I believe the REcall for the ECM/ECU is your problem. From the lights that are on it seems that is it. Should be covered under warranty. I think you need a replacement of the wiring under the carpet. It corrodes under wet and salty conditions. Since your in PA i would say you probably have to get it checked out.

Have a appointment on Monday. I told them I need a rental as my mirage is my only real means of transportation currently.

What's the latest on your car? Did they look at it yet?

Ill be shocked if you get a rental for free. Mitsubishi does not give customers rentals or loaners. Good luck.
