The only rattle in my Mirage was coming from the glovebox compartment. Driving over bumps and such, it was quite loud! There are rubber stoppers inside the glovebox (toward the front), but the source of the noise is coming from the openings where the glovebox clips into. The clip openings are too wide, making the glovebox rattle up/down inside the opening.
One member of the forum suggested using magnetic tape to fill-in the gap to make for a tighter seal. I found by using commercially available weatherstrip seal (self adhesive foam) the fix was even better. For about $3 you can get it (I used extra large).
At first, the glovebox will be tight to close, but once the foam adjusts to the pressure, it works brilliantly, and the glovebox itself feels like it has a nice cushion! Interestingly, the foam seems to have more pressure on the right side of the box (the left uses little pressure). Regardless, the glovebox is perfectly aligned and closes tightly!
