Crank but no start 2015-83k miles

For the last several months, every once in a while, the car will crank and crank, but not start. I lightly press the gas (not sure if it is helping or not) and the car eventually starts. I replaced the 6 year old battery last week, hoping it would fix the problem, then this morning Crank and Crank, but no start. The battery is strong and it sounds like the starter is working.

I'm the original owner, 6 years in at 83k miles. I guess I'm looking at a tow to the dealership (23 miles away), and hope the problem is covered. Any guesses or input are welcome.

There was another post about the same exact (sounded like exact) thing as your post. You read that, yet?

I held the gas pedal to the floor and got it to start. I will look into replacing the spark plugs. It does only happen when the engine is cold. So too much gas and weak spark? The "Flood Mode" tip worked for me. I guess flooring it during start cuts off the gas. In one post, Fummins recommended replacing the plugs to help with the problem.

There was a tsb or maybe even a recall to stop these from overfuelling when cold causing the cylinders to get washed out iirc. That might be worth checking out as well.

How should I approach the dealership with this?

    AFFECTED VEHICLES
    Certain 2014 - 2015 Mirage vehicles built before February 18, 2015

I think mine was Sept. 2015 so not effected.
