I don't, and it's probably just a mental thing, but after working at a Chrysler/Plymouth dealer for many years, and installing most likely thousands of filters, the Mitsu filters just felt and looked better. They were harder to crush, the cling wrap over the gasket and opening, even the cut of the threads just all seemed to make it a better filter.

I would go to my local dealer and check with them. (Or just have my wife ask the partsman at the Mitsu dealer she works at).

Bought some MZ690072's. Still wondering about the 1230A152 and the 1230A105, why those are used sometimes. Suspect maybe the smaller original is for clearance when the car is manufactured, who knows? But the 1230A152 I have no idea. Wonder what the 2017 used from the factory? Anyone with a 2017 know?

I need to get a xg7317 and a MZ690072 to cut open to show you. If you get the professional xg7317 you can get them for 5.75 each shipped in a box of 12 and they are the best.

Thanks alex, would be interested in 15k mile filters. I like the idea of 15k mile oil also (Mobil 1 Extended). New lubricants (and engines) are so much better. Thanks for the info.

    It's a bit of a waste running 15k oil and filters 7500 but it's so cheap I don't mind

I am about 10K into a 15K oil change interval using Mobile 1 EP with a 15K Mobile 1 filter. I'll sample the oil and send to Blackstone for analysis at 15K and open a new thread with results.
