Read that a couple days ago when looking for news about "MPG-gate". It's one of the few things The Times has written that I could make it all the way through.

Waikem. I tried TrueCar just to get pricing quotes from various local dealers. Their sales staff hounded me with annoying emails and phone calls more than any other, and it left a negative impression of a hard-sell dealer.

I'm a little surprised they didn't mention more about owner's fuel economy numbers. It would have been easy to reference the fuel economy logs on this site, fuelly, and fueleconomy.gov.

I really liked that story!! And I think a lot of the Dealerships are doing the same thing drawing people into a new car, with a big rebate and a cheeper mirage or Outlander. Here in the Pacific Northwest there's a Seattle Dealership that's out selling all the MITSUBISHI dealerships . I see a lot of new Mirages and Outlanders everyday!
