No clue, the track hasn't gone up yet. I've just had an idea of what I wanted to do with the car for some time, and I'm working with some of the best fabricators I know. If I had to guess there will be a slew of Evos, Civics and Integras, the occasional Celica or any of the boy racer Imprezas around here. I only know a few people with stripped and caged cars for track days, otherwise I imagine it'll be people whipping around their DD's.
I'm curious to know how racing will be set up at the new track. Will there be any involvement with SCCA? I can see racers quickly making their way to class and spec racing. Have you taken any racing training?
Racing is serious stuff. One wayward driver having a bad day can spread injury far and wide.
This reminds me of some sage advice I got some years ago:
Want to make a small fortune in racing? Start with a big fortune.

I've always been racing. Started with games, moved to simulators, raced offroad karts and have probably involved the past 5 years of my life into motorsport. I'm hoping they set up spec races. The entire property is getting a circle track, a NHRA drag strip, 2.2 mile road course, karting track and a skid pad for Drift/AutoX. I'm not trying to make money or anything, just for gits and shiggles. The experience of it moreso.
I just honestly hope people won't be racing their DD's. At least not competitively.
2010 Outlander V6 2WD
Love it....but it loves Premium and gets 24mph. I drive A LOT and the fuel bills were piling up. The bare bones V6 was shipped from Puerto Rico by former owner, thus the Base 2WD V6 which was not avail on the main land. With a baby on the way this will be the Family "Truckster" and the mirage is for me and the dog.

No Mirage(s) yet. My daily driver is a 99 Metro base model, 1.0L 5 speed. My other daily is a bone stock, 95 Civic VX. As for my personal stash, in storage, along with some parked out back. 91 Metro XFI with 33k original miles, 92 bone stock Civic VX with fresh paint, 96 Metro parts car, 96 Metro, 2000 Metro, (all Metros are 3 cyl, 5 speeds), 68 VW bug, 69 VW bug, 98 Silverado 4x4, 2013 Ford CMax hybrid. Yeah, I'm car poor, and my insurance guy loves me. I'll try and post some pics of my harem later.
2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GT. 178k on the clock and still running great.

I do love the DSM scene oh goodness. I'm going to squeeze out as much as I can from a NA 6g72. It's the SOHC 24v and finding good cams for the thing is an endeavor. Thought about a 6g74 3.5l or 6g75 3.8l swap, but I'm starting small with it. I'd love to weld in a GSX floorpan and fit AWD to it.
