Hii, wife bought her first car :)

Hello everyone my wife just bought her first car and its a 2014 Mirage CVT with 14k on the odo and its in amazing shape. We only paid 8k for it out the door lol. We have noticed a few interesting things so far. Is it normal for them to shake and vibrate at low speeds? Does anyone know the stock battery and muffler weight? Ours has no rear speakers, does the door have the wiring for me to install some or no? Any ideas if yaris rear suspension components would fit?

In 2015 Mitsubishi improved the motor mounts to reduce vibration. The 2014's will transmit quite a bit of vibration at low rpm's so I would consider it normal. As far as rear speakers I'm not sure if they are wired with no speaker installed. Welcome to the forum though!

Ahh interesting, can the 2k15 mounts be swapped?

Everything should be the same to put on the newer mounts. I am pretty sure that the doors would be wired for speakers as well. That is the first Mirage I heard not having rear speakers. They must have different options packages in PR. The only way to know is to pop off that door panel and check. Welcome!

Cars tend to be quite odd here, its probably the same options people get in the Phillipines as we usually only get the lower kit models in PR. I will investigate and post up for the other members.

I'm almost positive the speaker wires will be there even though the speaker isn't. Mitsubishi is notorious for having the wires ran even if the option is not present. Good luck and welcome. Also, how tall are the Yaris rear springs you have? Picture?
