Where are the OEM Mirage Parts made?

Has anyone had their hands into their car yet?
I understand the car is "made" in Thailand but I was wondering if the parts are too.
Basically, I'm trying to find out if there are a lot of Chinese parts in the car from the factory.

Not from what I've seen, others can probably attest more accurately.

I am sure Mitsubishi like every other company sorces the parts from companies all over the world.

That's true and I'm fine with that.
I've had mixed results with products around the world BUT I've had consistently bad experiences with Chinese products.
It's the Chinese products I'm trying to stay away from.
So, if there is a high percentage of Chinese parts it may sway my opinion.

I've changed some pieces, every one has said Thailand or Japan on it.

This is totally OT, but I find it fascinating so here goes:

If you buy a ballpoint pen made in China there's going to be one component of that pen that's manufactured in either Japan, Switzerland or Germany and that's the actual ball that makes the pen possible.

Those little stainless steel balls have ridiculously tight tolerances and have to be produced at volume on the cheap and Chinese manufacturing can't do stuff like that.

Chinese officials are aware of this: http://www.marketplace.org/2015/12/1...-ballpoint-pen

The window sticker says 90% Thai parts content. It doesn't say where the other 10% are from, but I'd guess Japan.

The warranty on these is so long that I wouldn't worry about it anyway.

    Thank you, good info.
As for warranties, I no longer trust or rely on them.
    I do my own work.
"We'll cover this $20 part but mark up the labor to cover it or find another issue we can fix to make some money"

The dealer makes money from warranty repairs. All labor and parts are paid by the manufacturer. I had a ETACS that was giving a intermittent problem with the TPMS sensors. Replaced, $800 including labor. My cost? $0.00.
