I have 15x6.5" wheels with 185-55-15 tires. The wheels have a 40mm offset. Here's how I would describe their fit on the rear...

I have roughly .75 inches between the inside sidewall of the tire and the top plastic shell of the rear shock absorber. See pic below...sorry my flash died...but I think you get the idea...

On the outside of the wheel, I have basically no clearance between the sidewall of the tire and the inside of the rear fender well lip. For example...if I dropped my car 3" in the rear, it would be a tight fit for the tire to clear the inside fenderwell lip if I hit a bump. Obviously it's not a problem because I'm not lowered.

Maybe you could go to the website http://www.willtheyfit.com/ and plug in my sizes and the size of the wheel/tire combo you are considering. It looks like you've got some room to use on the inside of the wheel, but not so much on the outside if you lower the car.

Let us know what you end up doing!

Hey thanks for the reply! Very helpful! It looks like I am going to be getting a set of OZ Ultraleggeras that are 16x7 that are 37mm offset I believe. Should be a perfect fit.

Sounds good. Be sure to post up some pics.

Are you concerned about rubbing on the fronts at all?

No I think the rear was my only concern but it seems other people have went with this size and have had no problems. Will definitely post pics
