Can some one tell me how to do software update on my 2017 factory radio with android Apple play
I’ve got a 2014-2015 Nav Unit with the dash surround for it if anyone is interested. $150.00 plus whatever shipping would be. Came out of a 2014 but don’t have the harness or anything for it.
Happy New Year! I just received the part that I hoped would allow me to post some good news here, but alas all I can do is redact some of what I posted previously.
Part 8755A118 is /not/ the correct reverse adapter for the 2017 Navigation unit (which is sourced from Hyundai Mobis). It /is/ the right one to connect up the 2014/15 factory nav unit, which is made by Clarion. And for the folks who ARE trying to connect a 2015 Clarion nav to their 14/15 Mirage, beware: the wiring & parts drawings online don't really look like the actual part - it's a single adapter, which only gives you half of what you need (either power & audio out, or the steering controls... a few months ago I knew which connector was which but right now I'm too frustrated to remember! :-P )
I wonder if anyone who HAS managed to make the magic work could post a pic of the reverse adapter, and maybe see if there's a part number etched on it somewhere?
Hold on, so are you saying that is the harness I need if I’ve got the factory nav system for a 2015? Just wondering because I bought a 2015 nav and the junkyard didn’t include the adapter. I’ve been looking everywhere trying to find one.
Hi Etravian,
You can see the pictures of the harness from the link posted in this thread:
http://mirageforum.com/forum/showthr...ra-2017-Mirage
there was no part number attached to the harness when I got the full set from the junk yard.
You can probably get it to work by splicing the reverse harness that you bought already with a combination of this a metra radio harness:

a few questions:
- which harness did you end up finding that adapts stock to 2017 radio
- was the mic from the 2017 car similar to the 2015 one?
