Some time ago i was backed into will in line at a Dunken Donuts (yay). The damage is very minimal but still noticeable.

My question is how to get rid of the gap between the fender and hood. And how to remove the dent in the hood lip.

Heat gun or boil water and dump it on the bumper while pressing out from the inside. Also, if anything is metal use a rubber mallet on the inside to bang it out. I would remove the panel and beat it against rubber or soft wood with a soft shield... Place the bent item in a way that it is cradled in the shape you want it to end up in. Use thin pieces of wood or shims

is the hood gap caused by the hood moving or the fender bowing?

I dont know if it is.. looking at the hood it looks like its slightly back by a few mm. Is it difficult to pull off the fender? Maybe a mount is bent like the front was?

If you can see any of the mounting hardware is bent first look up replacement. Then take off the bent ones and try to pound them to match the good side before you do the body repairs. I would part number everything out first though... Take pictures through the process from the same angles so you can check your work as you go.

from looking at the front ..it sorta looks like the headlight is lower than the other one...Strange, I could be imagining it.

If it's the hood it should be adjustable on the hinge.

The person that hit you gave you some cash or took off??,

That's a tough call then. You know what your priorities are.

Good thing it's not some fancy, expensive car.
