Just drove a Silver 2015 DE rental from San Francisco to Los Angeles, where I bought a Blue 2015 DE and drove it back home. All in one day. In this instance, all other things being equal, the Blue is better than Silver!

Only about a month after buying TB (new) I moved from near Chicago to Near NYC. In the process, we took a "vacation" visiting family in upstate NY (very upstate, close to Canada!). The trip from Chicago to upstate alone was almost 1000 miles, and we did it in two chunks of about 8 and 5 hours. I was driving alone, we had two cars to move so we travelled in a caravan with me behind my boyfriend's 2014 Mazda 3 hatch. We expected and planned for me being a couple hours behind him throughout the trip, considering the differences in HP and speed, and we were immediately pleasantly surprised! Not only did TB keep pace right behind the Mazda, she did it at about 10 MPG more depending on the hills. I was able to throw on cruise control at about 80 MPH and just hang out for most of the trip. I am about 5'5" and sometimes I wonder if the Mirage was built specifically for my height. Alex is 6'2" and he can drive her fine, but she fits me like a glove. I had the back seat and trunk jam packed with stuff with no issues, there were times I was even averaging close to 50MPG, but I would estimate around 45 overall.
I was very pleased with how safe and comfortable she felt at higher speeds, since she's not "meant" for it. Will definitely be looking into some of the ways people have reduced the body roll on turns, as that would be my one complaint. It just feels a little uneasy sometimes!
