Oil filter capacity (larger filters)

I noticed something today when I switched to a larger oil filter than the original. The one I used is the Denso/Mitsubishi MZ690072. It's also used in other Mitsubishi cars.
Here's what I noticed: in the Mirage, with the tiny original filter, the manual specifies 200 ml extra oil (3 liters total). In other cars that use the MZ690072 (Lancer for example), you add 300 ml for the filter. Leads me to believe the larger filter(s) should have slightly more oil. So, a complete fill, with a larger MZ690072 should probably be closer to 3.1 liters.
I know 100ml isn't much oil........
And not enough to cause a problem, of course, but something to consider, especially with an even larger filter or a relocated filter.

Using a Hastings Filter LF486 which is as lengthy as filter as will squeeze in without making radiator hose contact my total oil required is right at 3.3 liters.

Mitsubishi recommends the MZ690072, apparently the 100ml additional capacity is of little significance. But the larger Hastings that inuvuk is using would warrant a little more oil.
Here's something else interesting I found - Mobil oil website recommends 4 quarts for the 2015 Mirage. That's a bit overfill.

I wonder if this is because Mobil is sold in quarts and the Mirage needs a bit more than three?

But better off with three quarts than four. Four is way too much, I think. Only need 200 to 300 ml more to be full, which is about 1/4 to 1/3 of a quart. They probably should revise that recommendation. But still, even 4 quarts may be safely below the crankshaft (but I don't know for sure).

Just felt guilty about not doing it Although it would have been ok probably. Dipstick reads exactly full, however (like a dummy) I realized my driveway has a slight low spot, car was on maybe 2 degree tilt. Hope that doesn't matter too much
